OCEAN WAVES IN BLUE AND GREEN BY YAO CHENG

A couple of people have asked about the meaning behind the title of this blog...

One of my favorite quotes is by Isak Dinesen:

" the cure for anything is salt water :
sweat, tears, or the sea "

So simple, yet, I find it very romantic and poetic... A few things that I look for in my daily life.

And... as for CeCe...

During college, a good friend of mine started calling me “Cece” without any real prompting. I had no idea where she got the nickname, but I thought it was cute so I didn’t really question it.

One day, I finally asked why she kept calling me "Cece", and she looked at me like I was crazy and said “your name! CeCe for Salina!” I said “...sorry, I still don’t get it”. She informed me, “Your name is spelled with a C! Cece!” That’s when I had to tell her that my name was actually spelled with and S.

My sweet friend “V” (for Vanessa!) is one of my very best friends -we had the joy of being in each other’s weddings- and I will forever cherish the sweet nickname she gave me!
